Calrossy is delivering our Master Plan
The Calrossy Project Team are working currently with local surveyors, civil designers and the Tamworth Regional Council on a number of Master Plan projects.
One of these developments is for additional sealed car park area for the William Cowper Campus that will provide more than a tripling of car spaces for the campus and ease congestion on Moore Creek Road. The consultation and design phase is nearing completion and the project team will move their attentions to the tendering and construction phase of this project. The Project Teams focus is to minimise the impact to the daily operations of the campus for our community.
While this work is happening already well underway is the development of new Multi-Sport Courts that will replace the existing asphalt basketball courts and will be a shared facility for all students across Prep- Yr. 9. These courts will provide more flexibility for our academic staff in terms of activities, tuition and programs that can be offered to our Calrossy students for PE and PDHPE type classes.
You may have noticed a lot of works also happening in the Main House Boarding House on our Brisbane Street Campus. Our contractors are currently renovating the second floor bathroom as the first floor bathroom was completed during hte recent school holidays. Our Project Team and Contractors are very thankful to our community for working with us through this busy period while these improvements are undertaken.
Miss Parr provided the school with stability and confidence after eleven years of struggle. She provided strong leadership and initiative during difficult times. She was a role model for her students and staff. Her life espoused the Calrossy Anglican School motto' Christian and Caring'
