Parents and Friends contributions to our community.

Our Parents and Friends (P and F)  have contributed significantly through the gift of time and fundraising activities across our School Community. Over the last 10 years the P and F have invested over $300,000 to enhance the opportunities for the students and staff across our school. They have also ensured they play the role of a community conduit that allows for the free flow of information to and from the Calrossy Executive.

The Calrossy P and F is about bringing our community together and focuses on "Friendraising" and our activities have lots of variety from helping in the Junior School classroom  to Black Tie balls and working bees to fundraising BBQs. We have something for everyone who and appreciate any help from an hour, a day or just come along and have some fun at our events.

Our Parents and Friends 2021 vision:

Our goals for 2021 are to continue to provide a strong voice for our community trough representation at P and F meetings.

Provide opportunities for our community to come together at events like our Charity Golf 9 and Dine, Colour Run, assist with the RFS Training BBQs and much more.

Work with the our school to bring our students together through the Colour Run set for the 19th November 2021

Assist where possible to provide investment into resources and facilities that will continue to enhance the experiences for students and staff.

Parents and Friends contributions over the last few years:

We undertook a major project and renovated the playing surface at Goldsworthy Oval on the William Cowper Campus. This project was generously supported by BASF - AMPS Agri Business - The Grant Family - The Weik Family and lead by President Russell Ison.

Worked to present the Parent Forums via ZOOM and in person that gave current and future families the opportunity to learn more about the campus structures and changes. These Forums where well attended and the information from these sessions can be located in the FAQ section:

The P and F in partnership with the Student Representative Council and Calrossy Executive worked to complete the amphitheatre at the front of the Bishop Peter Chiswell Hall. This area was transformed in 2019 with the first two tiers being completed as part of Community Service Week.

Catering is a big part of the P and F and we have been catering for the trainees of the NSW Rural Fire Service Tamworth District who are undertaking training in Basic Fire Fighting - Advanced Fire Fighting and other training offered by the RFS. This is a great opportunity to show our support for these Individuals and also to showcase our school facilities to our community.
